Delete Your Account

You can request permanent deletion of your HoundAlpha account and associated personal data. Account deletion is not the same as logging out or temporarily disconnecting a brokerage.

This action is permanent. After deletion is completed, you will lose access to your profile, packs, messages, bots, backtests, watchlists, alerts, and connected-service settings. Information cannot be restored from your deleted account.

Before you request deletion

Cancel any paid subscription through the provider that bills you. Apple subscriptions can be managed at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
Review or close open brokerage orders directly with your broker.
Save any records or strategy information you want to keep.
Understand that deleting HoundAlpha does not close an external brokerage account.

Submit a deletion request

Open the request. Use the button below from a device where you can access the email address registered to your HoundAlpha account.
Identify the account. Include your HoundAlpha username and registered email address. Do not include your password, brokerage credentials, account number, or government ID.
Verify and confirm. We may ask you to confirm control of the registered email address and to explicitly confirm permanent deletion.
Completion. We generally complete verified requests within 30 days and send confirmation when processing is finished. We will notify you if applicable law or unusual circumstances require more time.

If the button does not open your email app, send the request directly to support@houndalpha.com with the subject “HoundAlpha Account Deletion Request.”

Information deleted

Subject to verification and legal retention requirements, deletion covers account and profile data, authentication links under our control, connected-brokerage tokens, watchlists and alerts, bot and backtest data, AI chat histories, notification tokens and preferences, pack membership, messages, and User Content associated with your account.

Information we may retain

We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, financial reconciliation, or enforcement of rights. Backups and logs may persist for a limited period before scheduled deletion. Where content must remain to preserve the integrity of another user’s conversation or a legal record, we will remove or de-identify your account association where reasonably possible.

Brokerage and third-party accounts

We will remove the HoundAlpha connection information under our control and request or perform applicable provider-side cleanup. Deleting HoundAlpha does not delete your brokerage, Apple, Google, Supabase, or other independently managed third-party account. Contact those providers to exercise rights for accounts they control.
