How do I connect a brokerage?

Open Portfolio, choose Connect Your Brokerage, and follow the secure connection flow. Available providers and supported trading features can vary by brokerage.

Why does my portfolio look out of date?

Broker synchronization and market-data timing can vary. Refresh the portfolio, confirm that the brokerage connection is active, and check whether the market is open. Contact support if values remain incorrect.

Can HoundAlpha guarantee a bot’s performance?

No. Backtests are hypothetical, AI output may be inaccurate, and market conditions change. Review every strategy and its risk controls before enabling trading.

Who can see my activity?

Visibility depends on the feature and audience you choose. Public posts can be visible broadly; pack content is shared with the relevant pack. Performance and holdings may be displayed as percentages without showing dollar values.

How do I report a bug?

Email support@houndalpha.com with your app version, device model, operating system, what you expected, what happened, and screenshots that do not expose passwords or brokerage credentials.
